Long Point Campground Sebastian, FL

This campground has on the water campsites. There is also a boat ramp and plenty of fishing spots around the island. There is a cool little Island that has more than a mile of nature trails, and primitive youth group camping at a reasonable group rate. Long Point Campground offers RV and Tent camping. At the entrance road, there is a camp store with food, bait & tackle and camping supplies as well as a restaurant.

This park is also just up the road from one of Florida's best fishing and beach state parks, Sebastian Inlet. The state park is open 24hrs and has a restaurant and bait shop.

If you are in a tent, bring some bug spray and soak the sand on your site before setting up. Then put a tarp under the tent. The sand mites will eat you alive!!!

PROS: Waterfront campsites, clean bathhouses, very close to Sebastian Inlet State Park

CONS: Sells out fast during snook season, no swimming at campgrounds (swimming is open at the state park), sand mites if you're in a tent
